Day 1

Accra Arrival

Kotoka International Airport

Upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport (KIA), you will have a chance to exchange money
inside the terminal. You will then be met for a transfer to the hotel. Check in is dependent on the time of your arrival.
Rest from your journey. Later we will have a Tailor/seamstress to visit for anyone who wants to have Ghana
custom attire made.

Day 2

Accra city Tour

Today, we will tour the city of Accra. We will visit many sites such as Independence
Square, osu castle, Dubois Center, and Kwame Nkrumah. Later we will meet for our Welcome
Dinner. End the day with our  Welcome Dinner.

Naming Ceremony/welcome immersion
After breakfast, we shall leave Accra for Assin manso slave river in the central region. We will start the day with a naming ceremony amidst drumming and dancing, where participants will be given traditional names. After lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 4

Volunteering day

Orphanage visit

Today is dedicated to community service. We will spend the day visiting an orphanage or school, volunteering our time, and engaging with those in need. After lunch, we’ll return to the hotel to relax and prepare for the evening’s activities.

Day 5

Capecoast/Elmina castles

Central region

Set off for the Central Region along a coastline marked with forts. On arrival, we visit the Elmina Castle, declared as a  UNESCO World heritage site, was built by the Portuguese in 1482 as São Jorge da Mina (St. George of the Mine). It is a well preserved castle with an incredible history and infamous for its pivotal role in the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Continue to the Cape Coast Castle, declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site and its West African Historical Museum. Take a walk through the colonial city to experience the present day way of life. Return trip to Accra

Accra spa brunch

Return Trip to Accra – Relaxation and Leisure
Depart Cape Coast in the morning and head to Accra. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Spend the day at your leisure, either enjoying the beach or exploring shopping opportunities in Ghana.

Optional Activity:
Guests who have signed up for the Spa Brunch will be transported to the spa for a relaxing brunch from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Later in the evening, join in the vibrant New Year’s Eve celebrations before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Aqua Safari Adventure

Today, we’ll embark on an exciting trip to Aqua Safari. Departing from Accra, we’ll head to this beautiful destination, where you can enjoy a variety of activities including Segway rides, kayaking, jet skiing, boat rides, cycling, wildlife exploration, and other outdoor sports.

Relax by the pool as a DJ plays the latest hits, and savor a delicious BBQ-style buffet lunch. In the evening, we’ll return to Accra to conclude the day’s adventure.

Day 8

Aburi gardens

Farewell dinner

Begin the day with a morning visit to the serene Aburi Botanical Gardens. After exploring the gardens, enjoy a delightful lunch at the Hillburi Hotel. On the way back to Accra, we’ll stop at TK Beads and Gracias Fabrics Batik Shop for a unique shopping experience.

Return to Accra in the late afternoon and prepare for a memorable farewell dinner. The theme for the evening is African Attire, so please dress in your finest African outfit to celebrate our journey together.

Overnight stay at Hotel Koko Palm or a similar accommodation.
